If theyre the same voltage why not just use all AAA batteries and make things lighter and smaller. That makes you wonder what the difference is. The size of the battery is important since it determines how much electrochemical charge it can store.
AAA batteries do not have a bigger capacity than the AA batteries.
Once again better at what. I am sure others have had great luck with the same AmazonBasics AA batteries. But two smaller capacity cells may give about the same Watt hour energy capacity. AA batteries are longer and wider than AAA batteries.
